We want every ToolHa tool to be easy to use for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or other assistive technologies.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities.
What we do
- Keyboard: every page and tool can be used with a keyboard. Press / or Ctrl + K to jump to search.
- Clear focus and contrast: visible focus outlines and readable colour contrast in both light and dark mode.
- Labels and structure: form fields and tool controls have labels, pages use proper headings, and icons have text alternatives or are hidden from screen readers when decorative.
- Live results: tool results are announced to screen readers as they update.
- Motion: animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Zoom and small screens: pages work when zoomed to 200% and on narrow phone screens.
Compatibility
ToolHa is designed to work with recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on computers and phones, and with common screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
Known limitations
We are a growing site and some parts may not yet be fully accessible. Complex tools, such as file editors, may be harder to use with a screen reader. Content from third parties, such as advertisements, is not fully under our control. We review and improve pages as we go.
Feedback and help
If anything is hard to use, please tell us through our contact page or at hello@toolha.com. Let us know the page address, the problem and the device or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within two working days and will try to provide the information you need in another way while we fix it.
How we assess accessibility
We check pages ourselves using keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom, automated accessibility checkers and screen-reader spot checks, and fix issues as we find them.
